How to Start A Shopify Store in 30 Minutes Or Less March 19, 2019March 19, 2019 admin Shopify is one of the most-used ecommerce solutions for a reason. It’s easy, it creates an all-in-one package just for you, and reduces the number of problems you have to worry about to the most important, vital ones to your business. But one of the best features of Shopify? It’s so easy a child could use it. Today, we’re going to show you how you can go from ecommerce newbie to online entrepreneur in 30 minutes or less, just by following these simple instructions. Step One: Sign Up For Shopify This one’s easy. If you’ve navigated life on the internet for any amount of time, you know how to sign up for an account. Fill out your information, press “Enter My Store”, and boom! You’re in. You’ll even get to use Shopify free for the first two weeks, so nothing could be easier. Step Two: Add Products The next part is the meat and potatoes of how to start a Shopify store: your product! Head to your Shopify dashboard and you should see a button that says “Add a Product”. Hit that button, and you’ll be taken to a page where you can fill out information on whatever product you’re adding. Fill out the info, and add some products to your store! These can be physical products, downloads, or anything in between. If you want to use dropshipping products, cruse the Shopify App store for a dropshipping app that works for you, and select products from there. Step Three: Make It Yours! Now we’re going to make this store stand out from the rest, but don’t worry: it doesn’t take years of design experience. All you have to do is head to your Dashboard again, and click on “Customize the Look of my Site”. Then, after you’ve set the colors and logo you prefer, head to the link that says “Visit the theme store”. There, you’ll be able to select from hundreds of themes that make your site stand out from the crowd. There are selections for every budget – even free – and designs for every kind of store, so that you can be uniquely you. Step Four: Domain Setup This sounds complicated, but fortunately, Shopify makes it easy. You can select and pay for a domain right within Shopify by heading back to your dashboard and hitting the button that says “Add domain.” Follow the steps, select your payment plan, and you’ll be up and running. Step Five: Activate Payment Processor This will be the final, and most important step. Shopify provides you with tons of payment processing options and even has its own in-house version to choose from. Select which one you’d like to use, and it will walk you through the steps. When you’re done hit “Launch Website” – boom, you’re an entrepreneur, all in less than the time it takes to watch a TV show!
